Diagnostics within the gas sector is indispensable with ensuring safety. Diagnostics in this industrial sector include infrastructure for storage and transmission of gas and associated equipment.
We have many years of experience in developing and implementing comprehensive gas installation testing plans. The methodology developed by us has led to a significant decrease in the failure factor of the tested system components, including pipelines, tanks and equipment, and, which is extremely important, to an increase in the level of operational safety. The diagnostics uses a number of advanced non-destructive testing methods, such as corrosion mapping methods using phased array ultrasonic techniques (UTPA) in automated processes as well as eddy currents. These methods have great potential in the visualization of test results, their archiving and the use of a signal in statistical processing. An indispensable element of diagnostics is the method of magnetic metal memory, which allows to indicate places where fatigue processes develop and degradation of the material structure occurs. It is very difficult to test the buried pipelines, where, due to the lack of access to the tested pipeline, the range of possible methods is very limited. We have the technology of testing such pipelines based on the MMM method, which allows to assess the technical condition of the pipeline in a relatively short time without digging it out, and to identify damages with minimal financial outlay. We have several years of experience in this type of diagnostics
